The programme will be organized around six themes that may be approached from the perspective of rich countries or from the perspective of less developed economies:
Theme A: Systems of Innovation, Growth and Development
Theme B: Competence Building and its Institutional Underpinnings
Theme C: Technical Change, Corporate Dynamics and Innovation
Theme D: The Global Knowledge Divide, International Learning and Intellectual Property Rights
Theme E: Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Growth
Theme F: Networks, Clusters and other inter-firm relations as Vehicles for Knowledge Building and Transfer.
As has been the case for previous DRUID conferences, arrangements have been made to publish selected contributions in a number of special issues of leading journals within the field as well as in an edited volume from an international publisher to come out in 2005.
